Paradise Beach

The villa is located just outside the quiet village of Sanyang in South Gambia, within a short walk of Paradise Beach, the finest in all Gambia.

In South Gambia you are well away from the tourist areas, this is the real Africa, uncrowded, natural , safe and secure. The locals in Sanyang village about a mile away are helpful and friendly, without the hassle encountered at the tourist hotels.

Paradise beach stretches for around 8 miles, and in the main is deserted apart from the odd beach bar/restaurant and the boats of the local fishermen.

The village has a daily womens market selling locally grown fruit and vegetables. On the beach the fish sellers offer the days catch at very reasonable prices.
